Announcement: FALL 2021 INTERNATIONAL PROGRAM UPDATE

Bethel is suspending all semester-long study abroad options for the Fall 2021 term. US-based study options are open to students as offered...
The following announcement was sent to all Bethel University CAS students on Monday, March 22:

As we prepare for fall registration, the academic leadership in CAS met to discuss the wisest path forward for study abroad trips in the coming year. While there are daily reports of real progress that raise our hopes for an end to the pandemic, the world continues in a state of recovery and disease prevention that continues to make international travel difficult.

In light of this reality, Bethel is suspending all semester-long study abroad options for the Fall 2021 term. US-based study options are open to students as our partner programs offer them. Students who are required to study abroad as part of their major should consult with their advisor.

We have not yet made a decision regarding interim 2022 study abroad trips or Spring 2022 trips, but we are hopeful that many of these transformative experiences will be able to run by next year. The decision regarding interim courses will be made during the summer, well before students return to campus in August.
